About us
We provide exceptional dog day care services. With fully qualified staff that have years of experience working with dogs. We provide a home from home for your dog.
Our centre is built to the highest of standards keeping your dogs comfort and safety the highest priority, While also making sure they are having fun, playing, socialising and a little bit of training thrown in.
We are fully certified by Durham County Council, License DCC/DDC/124802. Ensuring that your dog is cared for in a safe and fully certified environment
At Dog's Day Home, we understand how important your dog is to you, we treat every dog as if they were our own. We provide a safe and nurturing environment, where your dogs can play, socialise and receive personalised attention.
We have areas where the dogs can go to have some quiet time and relax, as well as an enclosed outdoor area where your dogs can have fun and games outside. You will feel at ease knowing you can contact us at any point during the day, to check in on how your dog is doing. We have years of experience running dog day cares centres.
Experienced Staff
Our team consists of trained professionals with years of experience, who are passionate about dogs and dedicated to providing the highest level of care. Our staff team have various qualification that include animal management, canine welfare, canine behaviour & dog training. We also ensure all staff and volunteers are CRB checked.
Safe and Secure Environment
Our facility is equipped with security measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care. We have a online booking system that allows clients to make booking directly, with allocated drop off and collection times to ensure that nothing ever feels rushed.
You can rest assured that your dog will have a fantastic time with us. They are constantly supervised to ensure they have the best care and their every need is taken care of.
We do not allow any unplanned visitor into the centre during working hours.

Engaging activities
We offer a variety of activities and play areas to keep your dogs entertained and stimulated throughout the day. You will be able to see what they have been up to, by joing our social media pages. You can also read about the activities in our blog written by the staff at the day care.
Dogs Acceptance
We work with our clients directly to understand your dog's unique needs and provide personalised attention accordingly. All dogs will have to be assessed by our canine behaviourist, for temperament. social skills, before joining our day.
